Wird man nicht wieder los: Mud

Mit meiner Begeisterung für Gothic ist es ein wenig wie mit Mud: manchmal verliere ich sie aus den Augen, aber sie ist immer da, bereit, hinter der nächsten Ecke hervorzuspringen und viel zu viel von meiner Zeit einzunehmen.

 

Ich kann kaum glauben, dass es tatsächlich mehr als 2 Jahre her ist, dass ich hier etwas geschrieben habe. Das Ding ist, dass ich keine Besserung geloben kann. Ich habe einen ganzen Haufen Kreativprojekte und Leidenschaften und für keine davon genug Zeit um sie ernsthaft zu betreiben. In der Regel kehre ich aber zu jedem meiner Projekte irgendwann auch wieder zurück.

 

Und so habe ich gerade wieder Lust, ein bisschen in die Welt von Gothic einzutauchen. Ich habe sogar noch eine ganze Reihe von vorbereiteten Blogbeiträgen rumliegen, die ich in der kommenden Zeit mal posten könnte. Die Themen waren halt vor etwa 2 Jahren gerade aktuell, das heißt „Neues aus der Kolonie“ ist es im eigentlichen Sinne nicht und ich muss alle Informationen daraus nochmal überprüfen. Aber alles ist immer für irgendwen noch neu, also wird der Ein- oder Andere die Beiträge vielleicht doch interessant finden. Auch Aldrics Geschichte will ich weiter aufarbeiten. Da beginnt jetzt ein interessanter neuer Abschnitt, glaube ich.

In diesem Sinne:

Won't ever leave you: Mud

My enthusiasm for Gothic is a bit like Mud: sometimes I lose sight of it but it's always there, ready to come around a corner and take up too much of my time. 

I cannot believe it's been more than 2 years since I've last posted an article on this blog. Unfortunately, I can't promise that I'll be more consistent in the future. There's a whole bunch of creative projects and passions that I entertain and I don't have the time to do even one of them properly. I've heard someone say “Don't half-arse two things, whole-arse one thing!” ... Well, I'm fraction-arsing a lot of things. But usually I'll return to them at some point.

And thus I feel inclined to dive back into the world of Gothic these days. There's even a bunch of old articles that I prepared last time I was active. Of course being about 2 years old they're not exactly “News from the Colony” anymore and I've got to review them for any changes that might be necessary before posting, but everything always is news to at least someone, so I think it might be nice to post them anyway. Also, I'll continue to work through Aldric՚s adventures, though I probably won't translate them any time soon.

So, as a Digger near my house used to say: “Another day ... and nothing has changed.”
